At Circuit of the Americas (COTA), you’re driving down legendary straights and conquering the iconic uphill into Turn 1 on a Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit in this supercar driving experience 25 minutes from downtown Austin. No previous track driving experience required. Just you, raw horsepower, and a pro in the passenger seat helping you push it to the edge.

Circuit of the Americas is the only FIA Grade 1 circuit in the U.S., and the only public-facing event where YOU can drive a supercar. COTA has hosted F1, MotoGP, NASCAR, WEC, IndyCar, and X Games.

Before You Arrive

To help your day run smoothly, please come prepared. All guests (drivers and spectators of all ages) must complete a digital waiver before entry. Drivers must bring a valid physical driver’s license and have their order number available (found in your original confirmation email).
Plan to be at the track for about 1.5–2 hours, which includes check-in, the classroom briefing, pit prep, drive time, and checkout. If you have more than two driving experiences, please allow up to 30 extra minutes per additional experience.

All drivers must wear flat, closed-toe shoes (tennis shoes/sneakers). At New Jersey locations, participants must also wear long pants and tops with sleeves—no shorts or tank tops.

Event Day Itinerary

Check-In
Bring your license, confirmation number, and signed waiver to check in. You’ll receive your wristband, drive tag, and (if purchased) your USB for photos and videos.
Classroom
Join a 25-minute safety briefing to learn hand signals, cones, track flow, and everything you need to know before heading out on track.
Ride-Along (Optional)
Take a 3–4 lap ride with a Professional Driving Instructor in our Hellcat Charger. This preview helps you learn the racing line, understand braking zones, and feel more confident before you drive.
Your Drive
Get in the driver’s seat of your supercar and enjoy your laps around the track with a Pro guiding you every step of the way.

Note: Prices vary depending on time and date – these are starting at prices. Base price does not include mandatory driver protection plans which start at $39. You do not need a driver protection plan for ride-along options.

Why is it more expensive to drive at COTA?

Circuit of the Americas is a world-renowned Formula 1 circuit and one of the premier motorsport facilities on the planet. Because of its prestige and sheer scale, the cost to rent and operate at COTA is significantly higher than any other track we visit. The logistics required to host an event at an FIA Grade 1 facility are immense, but we are proud to be the largest public-facing company that grants you access to drive this legendary asphalt. While the investment is higher, it guarantees a driving experience that very few people in the world can claim to have had: conquering the same curves as F1 champions.

What are my driver protection plan options?

While safety is our top priority and our instructors are with you every step of the way, incidents can happen. To help cover costs in the event of an accident, we offer three levels of driver protection plans:

Base Level: $39 ($20,000 coverage / $6,000 deductible)
Mid-Level: $69 ($85,000 coverage / $4,000 deductible)
Premium Level: $129 ($125,000 coverage / $2,000 deductible)

Do you offer payment plans?

Yes. We offer payment plans via PayPal’s buy now pay later program.

How many laps do I get?

You get to take your driving expertise for 3-4 laps, depending on the racetrack. The same amount of laps also applies to ride-alongs.

Can I use my own GoPro or drone at the track?

Sorry, but no. Personal cameras have the chance of falling, so they can’t be mounted or attached to the vehicle, driver, or rider. Drones are not allowed per racetrack’s rules, but it would also be distracting to other drivers, or could fall on a car. We do offer a photo/video package.
