Last Chance to Drive COTA With Xtreme Xperience

Last Chance to Drive COTA With Xtreme Xperience

The only FIA Grade 1 Circuit in the U.S.

There are racetracks. Then there’s COTA.

Circuit of the Americas is the kind of place most drivers only know from a broadcast. Formula 1 cars crest the hill into Turn 1. MotoGP bikes lean through corners that look impossible from the grandstands. NASCAR, WEC, IndyCar, X Games, and some of the biggest names in motorsport have all left tire marks here. And for a very short window, you can too.

Xtreme Xperience is returning to Circuit of the Americas for our final season at this legendary Austin racetrack before COTA transitions toward a private members model. That means the COTA driving experience you’ve been talking about, saving, or sending to your group chat with “we should do this” attached to it is officially on the clock.

Why the Circuit of the Americas Driving Experience Matters

COTA is not a parking lot course. It is not a short local oval. It is not a “close enough” version of the real thing. It is the only purpose built Formula 1 facility in the United States, set on 1,500 acres just outside downtown Austin, with a Grand Prix circuit built to challenge the best drivers and riders in the world.

For Xtreme Xperience drivers, that means a 3.40 mile road course layout, 20 turns, 140 feet of elevation change, and a 3,380 foot straightaway where the car finally gets room to breathe. We’ve had guests hit over 150 MPH. This is why a Circuit of the Americas driving experience feels different. The uphill run into Turn 1 is not just famous because it looks good on TV.

Our COTA event is one of the rare public facing opportunities where you can drive a supercar on a Formula 1 Grand Prix circuit with professional instruction and no previous track driving experience.

A real supercar. A real Grand Prix circuit. A controlled environment. A professional instructor. And a story that beats “I watched the race from my couch” by a few thousand RPM.

COTA Is Going Private. That Changes Everything.

COTA has announced THE CIRCUIT, a private driving club scheduled for 2027, with year round member access to the track, curated driving experiences, dining, hospitality, and a clubhouse rising above Turn 1.

Reports around the transition point to a future where access to the Grand Prix circuit becomes far more limited for outside driving groups, with membership access becoming the center of the track calendar.

That’s why this season matters.

For exotic car racing fans, this is a last call. It is a chance to experience one of the most important tracks in American motorsport before the gate gets a lot harder to walk through.

What You’ll Drive

At COTA, Xtreme Xperience gives you access to a serious fleet of supercars, including options like the Ferrari 296 GTB, Ferrari 488 GTB, Lamborghini Huracan LP610 4, Porsche 911 GT3, Porsche Cayman GT4 RS, Corvette C8 Z06, Nissan GT R, and a Charger Hellcat ride along option.

Each drive includes a safety and driving briefing, a professional instructor riding with you, a racing helmet, access to the pit area, and dedicated photo opportunities.

Why Austin Drivers Should Not Wait

COTA sits about 25 minutes from downtown Austin, which makes it unusually accessible for something this big. There are plenty of places to watch motorsports. There are far fewer chances to actually get behind the wheel at this level.

That is the difference.

You are not just buying laps. You are buying the moment you roll out of the pit lane, hear the instructor in your helmet, and realize the track you’ve seen on screen is suddenly coming at you through the windshield.

The Last COTA Dates With Xtreme Xperience

Xtreme Xperience currently lists two final 2026 COTA event windows: August 13 to 15 and November 18 to 20.

If COTA has been on your list, this is the season to stop treating it like a someday plan.

Book the COTA driving experience. Bring the person who keeps talking about F1. Give it as the gift they’ll never shut up about. Or keep it for yourself because, honestly, you’ve earned one ridiculous story.
