With the release of the highly anticipated new C7 Stingray this year it’s created quite the stir. Its been redesigned, re-engineered, upgraded, carbon fibered and pretty much everything else under the sun. It only shares two parts with its predecessor the C6 according to our dealer, and its wicked on the track. The C7 roars like a ‘vette should and handles extremely thanks to a 50/50 chassis. If you’ve been lucky enough to get your hands on one you’re probably not disappointed by any means, unless you got caught in the whirlwind of premium pricing to be next in line for it. Some dealerships were reported to be selling the C7 with a price tag north of $100,000 just to have it now, or claiming the VIN number was special. However, this is not the new Corvette.

The custom Corvette guys at Supervette have taken the old C6 and given it a facelift with a stunning aerodynamic body kit. Carbon fiber blended with Kevlar-reinforced bumbers gives the C6 Supervette a whole new look that will rival the aggressive design of the C7. In some aspects, Supervette’s body kit looks better than Chevy’s redesign. They’ve replaced the quad taillights and exhaust pipes and gone with a much sleeker look with a dual exhaust and large panel LEDs that blends seamlessly with the body work. Along with the aerokit, Supervette has included new alloys, tires, brakes, and an axle back exhaust to finish off the ‘look’.

Possibly the best part about the C6 Supervette is that it’s priced at $59,995. The worst part is, they only have two of their five initial pre-orders left. So as incredible as the C6 Supervette is, you’ll probably have a better chance at getting your hands on the new C7 Stingray.
