If you are a frequent Youtube consumer and have not yet stumbled across The Ohana Adventure, you need to go watch them now (good news, we linked their videos below). The Ohana Adventure is a family of 8 – mom, dad, and six kids. They use their home state of Utah as a jumping-off point for all sorts of adventures. As a result, the entire family produces a host of entertaining video content across their 8 Youtube channels. Recently, at Utah Motorsports Campus the entire family joined in some supercar fun with Xtreme Xperience.
Spending a morning with our team sitting in, riding, and driving supercars, The Ohana Adventure (or TOA as they affectionately call themselves) produced four fantastic videos about their experience. I’ve added them below with a brief explanation and behind the scenes since I (Aaron, XX’s Marketing Coordinator) was there.
1. Will I BUY a Ferrari, Lamborghini or Shelby Cobra GT500!?
2. Will I Scream!? CRAZY race car challenge!
Video two again focuses on dad’s experience. The Ohana Adventure patriarch perhaps had more fun riding along with one of our pro instructors than he did driving. The scream you hear in the video was so loud the entire pit crew heard it and stopped for a second to see what had happened!
3. SUPRISING KLAILEA with a LAMBORGHINI
Klai, the oldest of the Bennet family kids, is 17 years old and drives a Toyota Camry (watch this video for an entertaining Overhaulin‘ style revamp of the car). I do not know how the Youtube algorithm works, but I don’t think it provides enough income for a new Lamborghini. Klai must know otherwise as video three focuses on her Lamborghini ride-along experience!
4. Girls VS Boys REACTION CHALLENGE! Who will FREAK OUT!
The final video focuses on the oldest four kids and a challenge to not “freak out” while riding in the back seat of our Chevy SS Lead Car. Then, based on that result, mom and dad have a contest to see who drives a better lap in the supercar of their choosing. The winner of the kids contest gets to add 10 seconds to the time of the opposing team! Just to clarify, they timed the laps afterward using their video package.
One final tidbit of information. If you have kids and are reading this, check out The Ohana Adventure on Youtube. They somehow manage to wrangle six kids, have a TON OF FUN, and make awesome videos. Goals!
