Announcing the Racecar Xperience at NOLA
This stripped down, fully caged racecar was not built for anything but the racetrack, and it is AWESOME!
Ford created the Mustang for people to enjoy the feel of a sports car on the road, but their Special Vehicle Team (SVT) likes to turn the volume up to 11! In this case, you won’t even find a volume knob in the vehicle as the FR500S has 300lbs of your favorite accessories removed, in favor of higher horsepower and a louder exhaust.
WARNING: You will feel every vibration resonating from the 4.6L V8 engine as it screams around the track through it’s Borla exhaust. Hold on, because this is going to be one helluva ride!
This visceral racecar doesn’t even come with a VIN #, just a race # from Ford’s Factory in Flat Rock, Michigan.
Originally made for the Mustang Challenge known as the Miller Cup, only a handful of these beasts were created, and NOLA Motorsports Park had a chance to scoop up a few.
Lucky for you and I, because this car is relentless on our track. There might be no greater feeling than the one you experience while sitting shotgun of a racecar that is piloted by a driver who knows where to place it.
It’s exhilarating and something we can’t wait to share with you.
