While we still wait to hear about the LaFerrari & McLaren P1 Nurburgring times, Porsche releases more videos of the 918 Spyder dominating the track!

The Porsche 918 Spyder is the Supercar of the future, according to Richard Hammond – the illustrious presenter from Top Gear UK. Hybrid technology has not only increased its’ performance figures, but it’s also made it run more efficiently and produce less of a carbon footprint than a Toyota Prius!

And while posting a 6:57 time at the Nurburgring is by far a phenomenal feat for a production car, albeit a hybrid too, we still wait in anticipation to see Top Gear UK’s battle of McLaren P1 vs. Porsche 918 Spyder on the Top Gear Test Track.

Till then, Porsche continues to give us more video and information to gobble up. Their latest video gives us a glimpse of what it’s like to be in the driver’s seat of the 918 and lay it down at the Circuit of the Americas in Austin, TX.
