Pro Tips: Driving A Supercar at Putnam Park

Are you ready for your Supercar Track Xperience at Putnam Park?

Putnam Park Road Course is a 1.78-mile racetrack located just minutes outside of Indianapolis. The track was originally built in 1991 as a location for Indy Cars to test, so the configuration includes a lengthy 2300 foot straightaway and a variety of corners which were designed to push race cars to their limits. This makes it perfect for you to enjoy exotic cars that were engineered with high-performance driving and track use in mind.

Here’s your guide to get you from the parking lot to the pits of Putnam Park Road Course

Putnam Park Road Course is located at 5251 South Co Road 550 East., Greencastle, IN 46135.

Your reserved time is your Xtreme Xperience check-in time. Please be at our check-in room at the time you reserved, and have your driver’s license out and ready. Reminder: Putnam is in the Eastern time zone.

At Putnam you must sign their liability waivers at the main guard gate before you are able to park your vehicle; give yourself an extra 15 minutes for this process.

There are no fees to park at Putnam.

Parking is located on the South side of the Control Tower, by garages. Please follow our flags and parking signs and be courteous not to block in other guests.

Once parked, proceed to the Check-in area and have your driver’s license ready!

IMPORTANT: Per Putnam rules, minors (anyone under 18) who enters the Pit Area must be accompanied by an adult 100% of the time. There are other areas they can spectate from without supervision, but the Pit Area requires an adult presence.

FREE spectator viewing is available along the fence line at Putnam, and there is a small picnic area by concessions.

Any XX branded area after check-in is considered the “Pit Area” and adults will need a spectator pass. VIP Pit Pass access ($10 per adult) provides closer spectator viewing in the pit area. Tented seating, close photo opportunities, and waters are included in the Pit Pass, but cannot be promised for free spectator areas.

Dogs are allowed but must be leashed 100% of the time, no exceptions.

After checking in with Xtreme Xperience you will be asked to attend a driver’s briefing. This class begins at the 0:20 of every hour, and lasts around 25 minutes.

At Putnam the driver’s classroom is indoors, located on the second level of the Control Tower (climbing stairs required, no elevator option).

As our program is always evolving and safety is always strengthening, it is required that every driver (no matter how many times you have enjoyed our program) attend the driver’s briefing. No exceptions.

*As this classroom has limited seating we will (unfortunately) not be allowing spectators into the meeting. We always encourage a family-friendly atmosphere but this track location has limited space, and we must ensure Drivers are receiving all safety information. We appreciate your understanding and cooperation.

There are concessions available at Putnam Park and it is cash only.

You are welcome to bring your own food and drink (non-alcoholic). Waters are provided to Pit Pass holders.

Drivers must wear closed-toed shoes (no sandals or heels). This event is outdoors (no covered pit). Though we provide tented areas we ALWAYS encourage that you dress for weather possibilities (heat, cold, or rain).

We are a rain or shine experience so on average, our experiences are not postponed and refunds are not provided due to inclement weather (as long as track conditions remain safe). A day-of reschedule request is a $100 fee, unless we have postponed.

If we postpone an event you will be alerted via Email and text message by 7am the morning of, and we have up to 12 months to provide a reschedule date at a track location close to you. Please visit our FAQ for more information on postponements or cancellations.
