How are GT3 Race Cars similar to their relatives on the road?
As you may have already figured out, we’re big into cars. And along with the recent generations of car lovers comes our addiction to racing video games. So often do we choose to drive with our favorite supercars or its race car equivalent and realize that surprisingly there isn’t much difference between the two sometimes. Sure the race car is louder and its got a lot of kit comparatively, but we question what some of the major differences are.
Well, Chris Harris from the YouTube channel Drive is one lucky guy because he was able to test this theory in his most recent review. And he did it in a pair of Audi R8s. First up Chris reviews the V10 S-Tronic with its 5.2-liter engine packing 525 horsepower and 391 lb-ft of torque, followed by the R8 LMS Ultra GT3 race car which because of regulatory restrictions has considerably less figures. And where would one conduct such a review, how about the Nurburgring Grand Prix Circuit? Yup, sounds good.
Sit back, relax and enjoy the sound of that roaring V10.
