The Lamborghini Huracán is THE most potent Supercar in our fleet.
We knew that the Huracán was going to be something EPIC the moment it was announced. So special in fact, we made sure we bought two! After proper testing and exercising of the new Lamborghini, we were ready to unleash this beast to our customers – expecting to see plenty of grins. Since then, we’ve been left explaining, that although each car in our fleet is amazing, the Lamborghini Huracán has consistently provided drivers with a hair-raising experience (including our professional instructors). In addition to letting our facebook friends know, it’s faster than a Bugatti Veyron around a racetrack. Period.
Keeping close watch of top reviewers’ social channels, noticeably more Huracán reviews have started to accumulate on the web. In most cases – especially in the pits of Xtreme events – the response is overwhelmingly positive. However, that hasn’t always been the case, cough cough… Top Gear. It’s difficult to hear some say that this car isn’t as special as they’d like, however we know that opinions are like a**holes, everyone has one. The Huracán is a totally new piece of automotive machinery from Lamborghini, from top to bottom; which means, that there’s a lot to be experienced here.
Recently, Motor Trend has put together some outstanding tests, hot laps and comparisons for today’s top cars for the road and track. More recently, they provided us with this:
So, what did we learn? According to MT, under acceleration the Huracán reaches 60 mph in 2.8 sec. Which is nearly half of a second faster than its listed time on Lambo’s spec sheet. Not to mention, it lays down a 10.6 sec run in the quarter mile sprint… putting the Huracán into the territory of the Bugatti Veyron and McLaren P1! Also, their (MT’s) hot lap at Big Willow proves that it’s not only poised and balanced on the racetrack, but it beats out the anomaly, that is the Nissan GT-R Nismo! Don’t believe me? Suffice it to say, this Lamborghini has set the new benchmark for entry level supercars. It even had Randy Pobst saying that “they [Lamborghini] leapfrogged Ferrari with this one [Huracán]”!
